BS 476 Part 7测试方法
BS 476 Part 7:1997+AC: 2014标准简称BS476-7，BS476-7标准测试方法是在燃烧箱内点燃烧样品，点燃源为燃气辐射板及中型燃气喷灯。辐射板的辐射强度在离75mm处为32.5kw/m2(表面)，喷灯的火焰高75-100mm，与辐射板在同一方向施加于试样。BS476-7样品暴露在辐射热源板下10min。记录1.5分钟及10分钟样品的火焰传播程度。测试结果分成4个等级。

BS 476 Part 7 class1~class4防火等级评定
BS476-7 class1：1.5分钟时火焰延伸范围≤165mm，10分钟时火焰延伸范围≤165mm
BS476-7 class2：1.5分钟时火焰延伸范围≤215mm，10分钟时火焰延伸范围≤455mm
BS476-7 class3：1.5分钟时火焰延伸范围≤265mm，10分钟时火焰延伸范围≤710mm
BS476-7 class4：超出class3的限制

BS 476 Part 7用于建材评估时，由于火灾危险性很高，BS476-7 Class 4不允许用为建材。BS476-7引用到BS6853英国铁路机车标准中时，最低要求需达到class2，允许等级为class1或class2。
